It’s been some time since I have provided any updates about me, my books, or my writing in a long time. That is a horrible thing as an indie author, but as we all know, COVID-19 has hit many people in different ways. These times are harsh and complicated. So I recently gave myself a good slap in the face and made myself wake up and promise to change. I am now going to increase my world of writing and readers of my work.
So, with all that blah, blah, blah out of the way, let me give you an update on my first series of books, Greenlight Boys. The series is a Young Adult (YA) cross between dystopian fiction and post-apocalyptic thriller. The first book, The Pulse, has been out for a couple of years. I have hired a very good cover designer and they have come up with a new cover for the first two books of my series.
Below you will see the cover of the second book, Search for Truth. Now I don’t have a scheduled release date as of yet, but I am diligently working on the writing and editing of the book. My hope is to have the second book out before the end of the year. So, without further ado, here is the official cover reveal of Search for Truth.
Here is a little teaser on this new book:
Who knew about the Secretary’s plan? What is his bigger plan for Dean’s old Black Ops team?
With the Colonel dead, Dean must search for his former team members and recruit them to find the answers to why their loved ones were murdered and the ‘Pulse’ was blamed for their deaths. Using Alex’s hacking skills, they find the other team members’ locations. They go to recruit them but run into a hit squad sent by someone associated with the Secretary that is trying to silence the team.
Can they get the team back together and find all those involved in the Secretary’s plan before it is too late? Can they find the Secretary and learn his bigger plan before they are all silenced?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the cover. I promise I will do better with updates both on my website and social media accounts.
Until next time, stay safe and enjoy life. You never know when your story will end.
